Born and raised in the Bronx, Elliot earned his BA in Drama from Vassar College, and an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama.  He is also a proud alumnus of The Fieldston School, The National Theatre Institute and BADA: the British American Drama Academy.

A member of the original Broadway cast of War Horse (winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Play), he has also appeared onstage at Second Stage, Playwrights Horizons, Classic Stage Company, MCC, The Public Theater, and The Delacorte (Shakespeare in the Park).

Perhaps most notably known for his television role, Fernando Vera, a pivotal foil to Rami Malek’s, Elliot Alderson in the final season of ‘Mr. Robot’, this past year brought him back to the Law and Order franchise, recurring as forthcoming do-gooder, Congressman Teddy Garcia on ‘Organized Crime’. While on HBOMax & HBO Latino, you can currently catch him in ‘Loser Leaves Town’, a short film directed by Mark Nickelsburg.
